Kamera-magazine´s Photographer Of the Year is a contest which is competed in four rounds a year.
My pic Parkour @ Tampere attended to the round nr. 3 under the theme Youth Finland.
I was fascinated by the building´s clean, very Finnish architecture. The parkour enthusiast dressed to match the house´s colors was like the icing on top.
The jury´s assessment of the image:
“A startling image, which forces to look at it number of occasions. Can this be true?
Did the parkour enthusiast survive the jump that looks so impossible?
This photo is both visually and technologically magnificently conducted. Photo´s scale and color scheme support the wholeness perfectly.”
